13 Arrested for Drug Conspiracy

CHARLESTON, SC (WTAT-TV) — Nearly 100 pounds of cocaine is now off the streets of Charleston.

Thirteen people face federal charges for conspiracy to sell the drugs. So far, eight have been booked at the Al Cannon Detention center.

Some of the items agents say they were also able to recover:

– $45,000
– 37 firearms
– 100 grams of heroin
– 129 grams of ecstasy
– 5 vehicles believed to have been used for drug trafficking.

If convicted, they could face up-to life in prison and a maximum fine of $10-million.
