22 Arrested During Special Operations in Goose Creek and Sangaree
BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WTAT-TV) — Over the past weekend the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office conducted a special operation in the Goose Creek and Sangaree areas.
During that special operation, authorities made 22 arrests, 19 drug seizures, recovered one stolen firearm and issued one weapon violation. They also issued 10 traffic citations and 62 warnings.
Among those arrested were James Reeves and Morgan Creel, both charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Michael Anthony Corris has been charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and simple possession of marijuana.
Justin Barnes was arrested for possession of cocaine base.
“We will continue these targeted special operations throughout the Christmas holiday season. They are driven by feedback from my Advisory Board members as well as various citizens from around the county,” Sheriff Duane Lewis stated.
