4 Patients ‘Critical’ After Myrtle Beach Apartment Fire
HORRY COUNTY, SC (WTAT-TV) — Several people were sent to the hospital during an overnight fire at an apartment complex in North Myrtle Beach.
The destructive fire happened at the Windsor Green apartments in the Carolina Forest area around 9:00 p.m. Thursday.
Fire officials say people actually had to jump from the third story of the building to escape flames and smoke.
In the end, seven people were rushed to the hospital. Four of those patients were listed in critical condition.
Horry County Fire Rescue tweeted out a message overnight noting the strong work from the three different fire departments who responded to the scene.
Photos also revealed what little is left of the charred condos.
