8th Surgery for Citadel Graduate Set on Fire
FLORENCE, SC (WTAT-TV) — We have received an update on the Citadel graduate who police say was set on fire by her husband.
Loved ones say she underwent her eight surgery this week. They wrote the news on her GoFundMe page and said she is heavily medicated and is struggling with physical therapy.
She has burns on more than 50-percent of her body.
Deputies say the incident happened at her home in Florence County in September.
Her husband, Charles Nethercutt, has not yet been found. He is wanted for attempted murder.
