A $3K Reward is Being Offered Following a Deadly Dog Shooting
NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WTAT-TV) — A $3,000 reward is now being offered after a dog was shot and killed in North Charleston.
In December, a pit bull was found bloody and unresponsive in the front yard of a home on South Allen Drive.
Lamesha Haynes, the dog’s owner, showed us the last pictures she would ever take of her 2-year-old dog, Ava. “She gave me the biggest smile and right that day I just couldn’t believe that would be the last time I would see my baby.”
Haynes believes local bullies who have been repeatedly harassing her 17-year-old daughter are to blame.
The Charleston Animal Society hopes the reward money will help them find the person responsible for the dog’s death.
