BLM Members to Launch “Church for Black Men”
CHARLESTON, SC (WTAT-TV) — A Black Lives Matter activist says he wants to start a “church for black men” in Charleston.
Pastor Jomo Kenyatta says the congregation will not meet at a customary sanctuary. Instead, those meetings will be held in private homes.
The church will also not take financial offerings from its members and will continue operating as a non-profit.
That will allow the church to speak on political issues.
The first meeting is set for February 4th.
