The main mission at the Charleston Animal Society is saving lives and taking care of the animals in Charleston County. We provide care for over 90% of the animals in the community.

The Chili Cook-off is a family-friendly event held on November 19th at Riverfront Park in North Charleston. All the money raised that day will go towards Toby’s Fund, which helps our medical fund for the animals that come in to our care.

We use a software designed for team fundraising, so you go and register a team for $25 and then people are able to go and make donations to your team page.

Once you raised $500 you can have a table on the day of the event to cook your chili.

There are awards for People’s Choice, Best in Show, Most Unique, we have all sorts of awards!

The chili cook-off is critical in our goal for saving lives. You can come out and have fun, enjoy oysters, have chili and just have a great time.

We are so grateful for all of our business partnerships in the community, and through relationships like Joye Law Firm we are able to help so many animals within the community.
