Joye in the Community: Denim Day for Charity

In support of our community, we have staff that sit on a committee to discuss various charities and pick one that we want to support for the year.

This year we all came together and decided to support Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Lowcountry .

When you are working for a law firm, you might be dealing with a lot of stress on a daily basis.

Denim days is a fun way for employees with the Joye Law Firm to enjoy a stress free day while supporting a good cause.

On these special days employees make a donation to wear jeans and dress casually while at work. and Joye Law Firm matched the contribution.

When clients walk in and see staff and lawyers dressed up in jeans, and we all are wearing special pins that read “ask me why I’m wearing jeans,” it helps us talk about a charity like Big Brothers/Big Sisters that we are supporting.

We’ve had clients that have donated money because of our efforts and it’s just a great feel-good thing, all the way around for our staff and clients to be a part of.
