North Charleston Christmas Parade

The North Charleston Christmas Parade has been going on for about 25 years. It has always encompassed the Park Circle area and it is a great family-fun event for the city.

The parade is unique because of the people who are involved in the parade, whether the local businesses, the 4-H Clubs, or the bands. The local kids in the community really get involved.

Each year on the first Saturday of December at 3pm, our festival kicks off with hayrides, live entertainment, crafts and artisans out around Park Circle.

And at dusk we light the millions of Christmas lights around Park Circle and that is the official kick-off to the City of North Charleston’s holiday season.

The parade is open to all North Charleston businesses, churches, local organizations, and anyone that really wants to get involved.

If you would like more information please go to the City of North Charleston’s website and click on the ‘special events’ calendar to find the application and all information regarding the parade and festival.
