CHARLESTON, SC (WTAT-TV) — A local man sentenced to 50-years behind bars for sexually assaulting at least 22 young boys has asked a judge, for the second time, to reconsider his sentence.

In the filing, 38-year-old Louis “Skip” ReVille said his 50-year sentence is excessive and does not allow him to receive any type of sex offender treatment.

ReVille says he wants the opportunity to enroll in a treatment program for sexually violent predators.

The program is offered in a mental facility within the South Carolina Department of Corrections.

In the filing, ReVille says he has consulted with a psychologist who says that he would benefit from the treatment program.

Once enrolled, inmates receive sex offender treatment 7-days-a-week on a full-time basis.

There is no word yet on whether the court will answer his filing.

ReVille is expected to be released in 2054.
