DORCHESTER COUNTY, SC (WTAT-TV) — There are some new rules regarding fireworks in Dorchester County.
County Council has signed off on new rules which prohibit the detonation of fireworks in unincorporated areas of the county between ten o’clock at night and ten o’clock in the morning.
The only exception to this rule would include New Year’s Eve and the Fourth of July. Even then, there is a 1:00 a.m. cutoff time.
Violators could be hit with a $100 fine.
