Expansion of services for blind and visually impaired in Charleston
(CHARLESTON – WTAT-TV) LEYLA GULEN FOX NEWS NOW – The number of those who are visually impaired or blind are on the rise in South Carolina. According to the most recent data provided by the U.S. Census Bureau, there was a jump of approximately 13 thousand more visually impaired or blind people between 2015 and2016. This means there is a greater need now for programs and services for this community.
