Flood waters continue to rise in the Carolinas

COASTAL CAROLINAS (WTAT-FOX24) – ANGELA BROWN AND ERICA LUNSFORD –

Waters continue to rise as people are urged to grab their things and go in parts of South Carolina. Officials warn it will only get worse over the next few days. Meanwhile, you can see how bad it’s gotten. In parts of North Carolina houses nearly submerged in water tonight. Residents in both North and South Carolina getting one final warning to evacuate as the floodwater’s are expected to continue to rise through the beginning of the week. One of the areas we are watching closely is Georgetown County. Today our crews captured emergency officials putting up barriers on US17 in case of life threatening flooding.
