Former CSU Employee at Center of Sexual Assault Investigation
ROME, GA (WTAT-TV) — A former employee at Charleston Southern University has been accused of sexual battery and harassment.
Corey Humphries is the former Director of Residence Life at CSU and now the Vice President of Student Affairs at Shorter University, a small college in Rome, Georgia.
According to a report out of Rome, the Director of Campus Safety at Shorter University has accused Humphries of sexual assault.
While the school says they are not commenting on the allegations, the victim did speak with a reporter in Atlanta about the allegations.
“He was wanting to help me stretch so he tried to massage my leg, and things got a little bit further than my leg.”
Humphries is no longer listed on Shorter’s website.
He received both his undergraduate degree and Master’s degree from Charleston Southern University. Humphries worked for the college from 2007 until 2012.
