Hanahan Firefighters Struck by Firetruck While Responding to Accident
HANAHAN, SC (WTAT-TV) — Two firefighters have been hospitalized after they were struck while responding to an accident Wednesday morning.
The accident happened on the bridge at Henry Brown Boulevard between Yeamans Hall Blvd and Tanner Ford Blvd.
We are told that two firefighters were responding to an accident when a responding fire truck began to spin due to ice. The truck hit a vehicle and the firefighters on site.
Both firefighters were transported to the hospital along with previous accident victims.
