CHARLESTON, SC (WTAT-TV) — Could music in the Lowcountry help bring an end to homelessness in Charleston County?
The Mayor’s Commission on Homelessness and Affordable Housing has announced the Homeless to Hope Benefit Concert happening Sunday, March 11th at the Gaillard Center.
Organizers say proceeds from the concert will fund organizations and service providers which provide area homeless with that first step towards a better future and a plan in moving forward.
Charleston Mayor John Tecklenburg, North Charleston Mayor Keith Summey, Mount Pleasant Mayor Will Haynie and Summerville Mayor Wiley Johnson will gather on Monday to announce the list of performers.
