Man Sentenced to Prison for Failing to Register as Sex Offender
CHARLESTON, SC (WTAT-TV) — Failing to register as a sex offender has landed a man in prison with a ten year sentence.
Andre Youngblood, 42, was sentenced in federal court in Charleston on Wednesday.
The judge in that case hit Youngblood with a 10 year sentence followed by a lifetime of supervised release.
We are told Youngblood used to live in Hollywood, SC. He was convicted and sentenced in New York on two counts of first degree sexual abuse in 2003.
Officials say Youngblood registered as a sex offender while in New York but failed to do so once he moved back to South Carolina in 2014.
