Many Users Not Happy with Snapchat’s Latest Update
Social media company Snapchat thought their new update would make life easier, but it’s actually getting a lot of mixed reviews.
The app has received negative feedback over the past week. Their app store rating was even downgraded to a 1.9 because of the recent update.
Users say the new format is hard to navigate and pointless.
Many have used hacks to get the older version back, despite security warnings from the company.
“Don’t believe everything you read on the internet,” the company said on Twitter. “Unofficial workarounds to change the way Snapchat looks are temporary and can result in getting permanently locked out of your account or losing Memories”
A Change.org petition asking the company to remove the update has received over 700,000 signatures.
Snapchat’s usability went from Moo Moo Meadows to Rainbow Road.

Explain to me why I have to manually search my top friends name to message them in Snapchat because it’s buried by people I never talk to and also DO NOT have a snap story going on?
