Migrant Caravan Continues North Seeking Refuge in Mexico and United States.
TAPACHULA, MEXICO (WTAT-TV) – Thousands of Central Americans continue their journey through Mexico to the United States. The caravan includes men, women and children who say they are fleeing poverty and gang violence.
Mexican officials have been overwhelmed with asylum requests and have asked the United Nation’s high commissioner for refugees to help processing migrants.
President Trump has issued a warning that those who don’t apply for asylum in Mexico will not be allowed to enter the United States.
