CHARLESTON, SC (FOX 24 NEWS NOW) — Chris Dodson has been spotted at a number of venues around Charleston and performing for a couples’ most important day.

Dodson is an incredible musician who started his music hobby at age 13. He joined his first band as a lead and rhythm guitar player during his first year of high school. He showcased his true vocal ability during school talent shows, but later debuted his first solo acoustic performance in 1998.

He landed a full time gig as singer and lead guitarist for popular funk group ‘Unkle Funkle.’ Later, Dodson formed High Society — Charleston’s premium hip-hop party group — in 2009. That same year, he established a top 40/pop/r&b group dubbed ‘Return of the Mac.’

Since 2002, Dodson has been writing and recording original music.
