CHARLESTON, SC (FOX 24 NEWS NOW) — Defense spending: the Senate reached a two year deal in February that would raise the budget by $300-billion-dollars over the next two years.

But what does the increase mean for the defense industry here in the Lowcountry, which is home to Joint Base Charleston and other defense companies?
