CHARLESTON, SC (FOX 24 NEWS NOW) — The tri-county area is home to dozens of title 1 schools who serve some of our community’s most impoverished families.

A local organization is helping provide these children a brighter future.

Charleston Hope began in 2011 with the mission to spread joy and inspire hope for the next generation.

Emily Hoisington is the founder and executive director. She explains how the organization has been putting a smile on hundreds of young faces and reflects on its success while looking forward to 2018.
