CHARLESTON, SC (FOX 24 NEWS NOW) — Many people who face the loss of loved ones due to drunk driving suffer from depression, anger, and hopelessness.

Fortunately, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, MADD, provides valuable support to these victims.

Steven Burritt, program director of MADD South Carolina State Office, shares information on the aid offered by MADD.

Since 1980, MADD has saved 300,000 lives and continues to increase that number each year.

Ways MADD helps victims is through providing emotional support, advocacy in criminal and civil justice systems, offering support groups, and so much more.

“The mission of Mothers Against Drunk Driving is to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, support the victims of these violent crimes and prevent underage drinking.”
