CHARLESTON, SC (FOX 24 NEWS NOW) – Israel has been one of the United States’ most trusted allies for decades – a relationship that can be traced back to the formation of the State of Israel in 1948.

We’ve long coordinated across several fields, from defense to science, culture and trade.

Dr. Joshua Shanes, associate director of Jewish Studies at College of Charleston, joined us with all the details.
