Bringing Awareness and Beauty Through Halsey Institute’s Incredible Exhibition
CHARLESTON, SC (FOX 24 NEWS NOW) — The Halsey Institute, located at the College of Charleston, provides a multidisciplinary laboratory for production, presentation, interpretation and dissemination.
While it’s a non-collecting museum, Halsey Institute works to connect interactions created within context that emphasizes historical, social and cultural importance of the art of our time.
Lizz Biswell shares on an upcoming exhibit that takes a deep look at the human impact on the environment.
Some of the artwork that can be seen at the exhibit are stunning pieces done by Marc Trujillo and Riccarda de Eccher.
Halsey Institute has also teamed with the South Carolina Aquarium to present exhibitions and programs that raise awareness of our world’s plastic waste problem.
The Marc Trujillo and Riccarda de Eccher exhibitions will be available August 25 – October 7, 2017.
