CHARLESTON, SC (FOX 24 NEWS NOW) — How would you feel if you realized how much the environment directly affects your wallet? Would that make you care more about how you treat the earth?

What we do on this planet not only impacts our health but global economies, politics, and safety.

That’s why more than a billion people will come together Saturday for the 47th Annual Earth Day. Millions of people all over the world will be marching in support of this environmental movement.

Additionally, the first ever March for Science will take on Saturday, April 22nd. Those marching will meet at one of three locations downtown; Visitor’s Center, Four Corners of Law (corner of Broad and Meeting), and Marion Square.
