CHARLESTON, SC (FOX 24 NEWS NOW) – She’s known today as Lily Rose Lee.

But although that is her name, the world came to know her more than five years ago as Michelle Knight. She was one of three women held captive for more than a decade by a man in his Cleveland home.

Her escape and rescue captivated the world. Since then, she has made a dramatic change in her life, and she’s been using her harrowing experience to help others.

We were fortunate enough to sit down with Michelle before Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center‘s annual luncheon and hear more about her story.

Her new book, ‘Light After Darkness’, offers hope to those who have been in similar situations and is a read you won’t soon forget.

You can purchase the book on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and additional retailers.
