It’s a scary fact, but the temperature levels inside vehicles reach higher than those outside.

Sadly, dozens of families lose children and loved ones while being trapped in hot cars.

Aynsley Birkner, area coordinator of Safe Kids Charleston, and Ryan Kunitzer, battalion chief at St. John’s Fire District, share tips and information on the necessary steps of action to take to avoid tragedies this summer.
