Restaurant Week Returns to the Lowcountry Beginning Wednesday
CHARLESTON, SC (FOX 24 NEWS NOW) — It’s the most wonderful time of the year, restaurant week in the Lowcountry! There is no greater time to transition from summer to fall than enjoying the many great restaurants offered in the Holy City.
With well over 100 restaurants participating this year, Randall Goldman, President of the Greater Charleston Restaurant Association says there is something for everyone. “Everywhere from Summerville to James Island, Goose Creek to Mount Pleasant, North Charleston and Charleston – we are close by.”
If you participated in Charleston Restaurant Week during the spring, there will be plenty of new menus to try this fall.
“Each one of the restaurants do a little something different every year,” said Goldman. “We have well over 30 that have joined for this restaurant week, so, definitely across the culinary spectrum from price-point to cuisine style – there is a little bit of something for everybody.”
Charleston Restaurant Week offers many different price plans, depending on the restaurant. Whether it’s three for $40, two for $20 or three for $35, the list of restaurants offer a wide selection during the fall.
“It kind of gives us an opportunity to, maybe for someone who hasn’t visited a restaurant in a long time or (to visit) a new restaurant, to venture back in and reintroduce themselves,” said Goldman.
Charleston Restaurant Week runs September 6 – 17. For more information, please click here.
