SULLIVAN’S ISLAND, SC (FOX 24 NEWS NOW) — With the bounty of fresh foods we have here in South Carolina, we can’t enough farmer’s markets.

Sarah Church is here to tell us about the new Sullivan’s Island Farmer’s Market that will be held every Thursday, which is a different from other area markets.

“We have a huge assortment of vendors at this event like fresh local produce, specialty foods like a bakery, fresh tortillas, locally made cheeses, and then we have arts and crafts, local artists, a jewelry maker and live music,” said Church.

Church said they also have prepared foods to you can eat right there at the farmer’s market and enjoy the surroundings.

The market runs 2:30pm until 7:00pm and is located by the Edgar Allen Poe Library and Sullivan’s Island Elementary School at 1921 Ion Avenue.
