The Lowcountry Coin Club Is Back With Their Winter Coin Show
LADSON, SC (FOX 24 NEWS NOW) — For eons, currency has been used across civilizations.
Early American colonists used English, Spanish and French money. It was around 1775 when Paul Revere made the first plates for continental currency.
And, in 1858 the U.S. Mint first started offering proof coins for sale to collectors.
Now, you can kick-start your own collection this weekend at the Lowcountry Coin Club’s winter show, happening at the Exchange Park fairgrounds at 9850 Hwy. 78 in Ladson.
The event will run from February 2nd through the 4th. Parking and admission will be free and door prizes will be awarded throughout the day.
You can also save a life by stopping by the Red Cross Blood Mobile on Saturday, February 3rd right there at the fairgrounds.
