CHARLESTON, SC (FOX 24 NEWS NOW) – More than 300,000 South Carolinians provide millions of hours of unpaid care every year for their family members grappling with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

These caregivers dedicate so much of their time ensuring their family members are happy and taken care of, sometimes to the detriment of their own health and lives.

Alice’s Clubhouse is a new, much easier way for caregivers to care for folks battling memory loss. This will be a private, membership-based memory care facility staffed with licensed professionals. Activities will include art therapy, horticulture, baking, music and so much more!

We were joined by the facility’s president, David AvRutick, and Diane Sancho, the executive director, who told us more about this amazing new program.
