President Trump Visiting the Lowcountry on Friday
NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WTAT-TV) — The Boeing campus is getting ready to roll out the presidential red carpet as President Trump is expected to visit the plant Friday.
President Trump will be joined by Governor Henry McMaster and North Charleston Mayor Keith Summey.
Boeing is rolling out its new 787-10 dreamliner.
Meanwhile, there is at least one group expected to protest the visit; Indivisible Charleston is expected to set up at the North Charleston coliseum starting at 11:00am.
There is no word on when the President will land but he is expected to give remarks starting around 12:00pm.
During the President’s visit airplanes are not allowed to fly in the area. The FAA has released information about special no fly zones.
This does not include aircraft for law enforcement, military or regularly scheduled commercial flights.
The FAA recommends all aircraft operators check for possible updates to these regions Friday.
