Remembering Pearl Harbor, Veteran Shares Memories Through Art

MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WTAT-TV) – A ceremony will be held today at Patriots Point in remembrance of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Twenty-five known South Carolinians were killed in the attack and will be honored.

Brodie Hart spoke with twenty-two year Air Force veteran, Oscar Fitzhenry who reported for duty just days after the attack. Fitzhenry was an amateur photographer when he flew in World War II. He shares his memories and paintings.
