TSA Workers Calling Out Amid Government Shutdown

CHARLESTON, SC (WTAT-TV) – From the possibility of longer lines at security checkpoints to serious concerns about the safety of planes in the skies, the government shutdown is taking a toll on the airline industry.

New reports show that agents are calling out, leaving fewer workers to ensure safety reports.

The largest pilots union wrote a letter to the White House stating that a lack of inspectors and regulators is dangerous.
