Charleston Animal Society aids shelters affected by Hurricane Florence
CHARLESTON, SC (WTAT-TV) – Charleston Animal Society is working to lend a helping hand to shelters in areas affected by the devastating Hurricane Florence.
Earlier this week, the group took a truck to Fayetteville, NC where they assisted shelters that are currently over capacity.
Charleston Animal Society member, Aldwin Roman spoke with FOX 24 this morning stating that forty-three pets were brought back here to Charleston. These pets will receive basic medical treatments, most will be ready for adoption by this weekend.
