Your LOCAL GEICO WEEKEND DRIVE (WTAT-TV) – ADAM BRADLEY

It’s a very musical weekend in Charleston and if you’re the type to spend time way down yonder on the Chattahoochie you may want to make plans to be at the Coliseum this weekend. Tickets are still available to see Alan Jackson live in concert at 7:30 tomorrow evening. This show was originally scheduled in September of last year, so it’s been a long time coming to see the legendary country music star. Jackson just celebrated his 30 year anniversary in the music industry, so he has quite the catalog to pull from for this one-night-only event. https://www.alanjackson.com/tour.html

It’s move-in weekend in at area colleges and after all that mess you’ll need a way to wind down. The Music Farm is hosting the College of Charleston’s Back to School Party In The Den on Saturday starting at 9 for a 3-band bill in an all-ages format. Community Pool, Columbia’s The Long Con and the newest FOX 24 News Now Spotlight Music Series veteran Never Better will be taking the stage, all for the very easy-on-the-college-student-wallet price of $5 in advance or $7 at the door. For a preview, tune in to FOX 24 News Now at 12:30 and 11pm tomorrow for a solo performance by DJ Edwards of Never Better! https://music-farm.com/events/cofc-back-to-school-party-in-the-den/

That will do it for this week’s Geico Local Office Weekend Drive. We’ll see you down the road.
