East Cooper Community Outreach to help low-income residents

CHARLESTON, SC (FOX24 NEWS NOW) — East Cooper Community Outreach is hard at work helping low-income individuals who need everyday necessities. Some individuals in Mount Pleasant area bring home a yearly salary as low as $14,000 and have difficulties obtaining basic necessities such as food and clothing. ECHO provides for these needs and offers other services to help these individuals get on their feet. Services expand to those who live east of the Cooper River in Charleston and lower Berkeley County, or to those currently employed in the East Cooper region.
