On New Year’s Eve 2018, Corporal Devan Duranwernet, a Charleston native and Marine, witnessed a terrible incident involving an American airman.

Cpl. Duranwernet joined us via satellite from Marine Corps Base Camp Hansen in Okinawa, Japan, sharing more about the experience and how he and his brothers-in-arms saved a life.
