Provisions to Plate: Charleston Blogger Brings Lowcountry Culinary Talent Together in New Book

CHARLESTON, SC (FOX 24 NEWS NOW) — Charleston’s food scene is something of a phenomenon.

While good restaurants and a strong Southern culinary identity have long existed in the Holy City, the place we call home is evolving at the speed of light with fresh, new talent that continues to inspire plate after plate.

Candice Herriott is an expert at writing about it and a home-gourmand herself. She’s the brain behind food blog ‘CHSFoodWriter’ and a contributor to Skirt magazine.

Herriott is set to release a new book, ‘Provisions to Plate: A Charleston Seasonal Collective’, and is kicking it off with a huge party.

The book release bash will take place at Bowens Island this Sunday, June 24, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
