Rep. JA Moore, Others Continue to Aid Government Employees After Shutdown

CHARLESTON, SC (FOX 24 NEWS NOW) – While the partial government shutdown has been lifted, for now, government workers are still receiving a helping hand after missing two paychecks, which has put a strain on their household finances.

House District 15 Representative, JA Moore, has partnered with Lowcountry Local First and restaurants in the area to help keep these workers and their families fed.

Representative Moore joined us in-studio to talk about where you can go to help you save a few dollars.

A survey revealed more than half of workers say a job where they can make an impact is important to their happiness. Sixty-six percent of global consumers admit they’re willing to pay more for sustainable brands. This is showing a significant shift in the way people want to live their lives in the future.
