Community members volunteer in hundreds of ways each day to help their fellow Charlestonians live their best lives possible.

Trident United Way’s AmeriCorps chapter is one of those many groups working toward a brighter future for those in need.

We spoke with Joselyn Johnson, Trident United Way AmeriCorps manager, about how the organization is serving communities nationwide through a series of programs that address basic needs like finances, food, housing and much more.

Plus, volunteers are helping build greater financial stability for families and individuals right here in the Lowcountry.
