Stomp Out Sarcoma: How You Can Support Sara’s Cure
JAMES ISLAND, SC – Earlier this year, the National Cancer Institute estimated over 15,500 children would be diagnosed with cancer.
Although childhood cancer is not common, the statistic is still staggering.
A local family was impacted when their daughter, Sara Woods, was diagnosed with a rare form of the disease, Clear Cell Sarcoma, in 2016.
Sara’s father, Denny, joined us and shared her brave battle, as well as the need for funding for research.
You can help raise the money needed to further the mission of Sara’s Cure during an annual fundraiser and golf tournament coming soon.
Dru Williams, owner of Rogue Motion Boat Sales Service & Storage, and Rick Agius, owner of Smoky Oak BBQ Taproom, are the founders of the Annual Rogue Motion/Smoky Oak Charity Golf Tournament ‘Swing for Sara’s Cure: Stomping Out Sarcoma’.
