“Stamp Out Hunger” Awareness
NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WTAT-TV) – It is almost time to “Stamp Out Hunger” in the Lowcountry. The annual effort involving the Lowcountry Food Bank and letter carriers will take place on Saturday, May 11th.
Leaders say this is going to be the largest one-day food drive in the country.
To participate, place non-perishable items in the bags provided by your mail carrier (or your own bag) and leave it by your mailbox on Saturday.
Participants can also drop off items to their local post office.
FOX 24’s Alexandria Savage spoke with Alexis Barnalace, Lowcountry Food Bank manager, about all the details.
