Trends in climate change affecting the Lowcountry

CHARLESTON, SC- (WTAT-TV) – BROOKE SCHWIETERS– A study conducted by Climate Central, a non-profit organization dedicated to communicating the effects of climate change, projects certain regions along the East coast to be below high tide line over the next three decades.
Charleston is notorious for severe flooding, even after the smallest amount of rainfall, and is one of the top areas that are at risk for permeate damage by 2050. Fox24 meteorologist Emily Gracey has more information on the collected data.
